You’ll notice some changes around here. New and improved:
- Design (in my opinion, anyway)
- And a lot of technical back end stuff that you’re probably not interested in.
I started with the blog on Squarespace because I knew how to use it, and I knew it would be easy to get me going. But there were a lot of limitations right off the bat, and for a control freak like me, it was very frustrating. I knew even before I launched the blog that I would have to switch over to WordPress at some point. Aaaaand, that time is now! Well actually it was supposed to be a few days ago, but whatever. Long story short, it turns out that I don’t know anything about databases and you can’t just *pouf* transfer your files over, and what the heck even is mySQL, perhaps I’ll never understand.
BUT. The important part is all the broken things are fixed, and I’m here, and you’re here and we have this nice new shiny site! I’m still working on some things, so expect minor updates within the next few weeks. I’m still updating all the foods in the cheat sheet (and adding the new foods that Monash just tested). And coming soon will be a more robust search function, better email updates, and a delicious wheat-free low FODMAP cinnamon roll recipe! Because, duh, it’s the holidays and you need cinnamon rolls. In fact, I need a cinnamon roll. I think I’ll have one right now.
